Beauty / Cosmetics / Fragrance

Beauty, cosmetics and fragrance shaped through portraiture, sculptural still life and film. Exact light, extreme perspective and material experimentation give products and people a distinct physical presence.

Field note

George Kroustallis is a London-based photographer and director creating beauty, cosmetics and fragrance imagery through Minorstep. His work moves between portraiture, sculptural still life and film, using exact light, extreme perspective and material experimentation to give products and people a distinct physical presence.

Across campaigns, editorial commissions, collaborations and visual research, each project begins with the identity of the object or subject. Practical effects, post-production, CGI and emerging image-making tools enter only when they sharpen the idea, allowing commercial clarity and unfamiliar visual language to coexist.
