Utopia: Sisters is a 2021 fashion and architecture story photographed and creatively directed by George Kroustallis. Models Tasha Malek and Smilla Herbst appear as reflections of one another across rust-red monumental structures, water, rock and open sky. Contrasting black, white, blue and earth-toned looks draw parallels between garment construction and the site’s angular forms, treating architecture and fashion as related disciplines. Styling is by Jade Sheils, with hair and make-up by Melanie Hoppe. The series explores memory, landscape and the relationship between human scale and built form.
