INFOCLOSE

A commissioned film for Orto Parisi’s Stercus, exploring smell as identity and the unstable line between attraction and repulsion. An orange-red eye, viscous black surfaces and resin-like organic forms create a sensorial world that feels soft, dirty, intimate and alien at once. George Kroustallis directs the fragrance through material association rather than literal explanation, allowing texture, colour and sound to suggest something bodily and magnetic without resolving into a conventional bottle film. Music and sound design by UN.studios deepen the work’s ritual, almost subterranean atmosphere.
