Chrysalis is a product photography series centred on an Audemars Piguet watch and the idea of an object in transformation. Minorstep moves from a legible full-watch composition into macro studies of the openworked mechanism, bracelet links and reflective surfaces. Transparent domes, liquid-metal distortion, cyan edge light and deep red accents partially conceal and reveal the product, while black grounds preserve the precision of the case and movement. The sequence balances horological detail with abstraction, treating glass, metal and reflection as active materials rather than neutral display devices.
